Our Story
Children's House
Inspired by love, built on a childhood dream, and sustained by the trust of hundreds of families β this is the story of how Children's House became a home away from home for little learners.
Inspired by the Original Children's House
Inspired by Dr. Maria Montessori's very first school, Casa dei Bambini β which beautifully translates to "Children's House" β our journey began with a deep love for the Montessori philosophy and a heartfelt dream.
Founded in 2011, Children's House was not just an institution, but the realization of a vision that began in the heart of a 12-year-old child. It was a dream to one day create a space for children in the name of her grandparents, carrying forward a legacy of love, care, and values.
The name we carry is not just a translation β it is a promise. A promise that every child who walks through our doors will feel the warmth, safety, and joy of a second home.
A 12-Year-Old's Dream
Became a Reality at 25
Long before textbooks and classrooms, there was a little girl with a big dream β to one day create a nurturing space for children, in loving memory of her grandparents. That dream stayed alive through school, through college, through every year that passed.
At the age of 25, armed with passion, purpose, and a heart full of love for children, that dream stepped out of imagination and into reality. Children's House was born.
The Road We've Travelled
From a childhood dream to a thriving school β every milestone has been a testament to love, dedication, and the trust of our community.
Children's House opens its doors in a warm 2,500 sq ft rented space. A Montessori lab, splash pool, garden, lawn, and play areas are thoughtfully set up β creating a world of wonder for little learners.
In our very first year, we welcomed 45 wonderful children. Each one a new chapter, each family a new bond. The foundation of trust began right here.
Word spread, hearts connected. With growing trust and encouragement from our parent community, our family grew to over 80 children. The school was blooming, just like the children in it.
A defining moment β we moved into our very own building. A place we could truly call home. A milestone that marked not just growth, but belonging.
Since moving into our own space, each year has seen over 100 children becoming part of the Children's House family. The journey continues to grow, one little learner at a time.
Today, we stand deeply grateful for the unwavering trust, love, and support from our parent community. Their belief in us continues to inspire and strengthen our commitment to nurturing young minds.
A Vision Rooted in Love & Legacy
"I wanted to create a space that carried the warmth of my grandparents' love β a place where every child feels seen, valued, and cherished. Children's House is not just a school. It is a living tribute to the people who shaped my heart."
What began as a child's quiet dream grew into something extraordinary β not through grand resources, but through unwavering love, relentless dedication, and a genuine belief that every child deserves the very best start in life.
That spirit lives in every corner of Children's House β in the laughter of the children, the warmth of the teachers, and the trust of every family who walks through our doors.
Moments That Shaped Who We Are
Children's House opens in a rented 2,500 sq ft space with a Montessori lab, garden, splash pool, and play areas.
Our first batch of 45 wonderful children begins their journey with us β every family a new chapter of trust.
Word of mouth, parent love, and community trust doubled our family in just one year.
A monumental milestone β moving into our very own dedicated school space, a true home for Children's House.
Every year since our own space, over 100 children have joined our family β growing stronger each season.
We carry bigger dreams and stronger aspirations as we look ahead to an even more enriching environment for every child.
The Philosophy That
Guides Everything We Do
In 1907, Dr. Maria Montessori opened the first Casa dei Bambini in Rome β a school that would change early childhood education forever. Her belief was simple but revolutionary: children are naturally curious, self-directed learners who flourish when given the right environment and freedom to explore.
At Children's House, we carry that philosophy in everything we do β from the way we design our classrooms to the way our teachers interact with each child. Every material, every activity, every gentle word of encouragement is rooted in Dr. Montessori's timeless wisdom.
The Values at Our Heart
Everything we do at Children's House is guided by values that were there from the very first day β love, respect, curiosity, and joy.
Every child is treated with the same love and gentleness we would wish for our own children. Care is not a policy here β it is our nature.
We believe every child grows at their own beautiful pace. Our role is to create the conditions for growth β not to rush it.
Questions are celebrated here. Wonder is welcomed. A curious child is a learning child β and we protect that curiosity with everything we have.
We are nothing without our families. The bond between school and parent is sacred to us β built on transparency, honesty, and shared love for every child.
Children's House was built in honour of a family legacy. That sense of purpose β of doing something meaningful β runs through everything we create.
Learning should feel like play. Discovery should feel like delight. We protect the joy of childhood at every step of every program we offer.
Bigger Dreams,
Stronger Aspirations
As we look ahead, we carry bigger dreams and stronger aspirations β continuously working towards creating an even more enriching environment for every child who walks through our doors.
We are committed to expanding our programs, deepening our Montessori practice, strengthening our parent partnerships, and creating a campus that is even more beautiful, safe, and stimulating for young learners.
The journey of Children's House is far from over β in fact, the most exciting chapter is still being written. And we are deeply grateful that you are a part of our story.
Expanding our physical space to include richer learning zones, a bigger Montessori lab, and more nature-inspired play areas.
Continuous teacher training and curriculum enrichment to stay at the forefront of early childhood Montessori education.
Building more meaningful events, workshops, and touchpoints that bring our beautiful parent community even closer together.
Growing our family year by year β because every child who joins us makes Children's House more complete.
